CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF THE OPUZEN RECYLCLING YARD

The project includes constructing and equipping the recycling yard in Opuzen, including implementation of associated informative and educational activities intended for raising the level of awareness and responsible behaviour by the local population in their approach to waste with the aim of increasing the level of separated collected communal waste and also reducing the amount of waste deposited at the depot.

The project involves constructing and equipping the recycling yard, and includes the supervised, fenced area intended for separate collection and temporary storage of smaller quantities of specific types of waste. The works on the respective recycling yard will cover an area of approx. 1,500 m2, while the total area covered by the project works including the recycling yard and access route amounts to 4,304.31 m2.

The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund.
