CONSTRUCTION OF A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN BRLOG (OTOČAC)

The project involves the construction of a residential facility for the elderly and dependent persons (Residential Building B). The building is designed with a maximum capacity of 24 residents and consists of three above-ground levels: ground floor, first floor, and attic level.

Residential accommodation is provided on all levels of the building, with a total capacity of 24 beds distributed across 12 residential units. Each floor is designed to include communal living areas with integrated kitchen facilities, as well as ancillary staff areas and sanitary units, thereby ensuring the provision of basic healthcare services and continuous daily care for residents. Accommodation for persons with reduced mobility is located on the ground floor. In this regard, full accessibility is ensured through the provision of barrier-free access, including an entrance ramp, sanitary facilities adapted for persons with disabilities, and one designated parking space for persons with disabilities.

In terms of architectural design, the building constitutes a single, independent structure characterized by a complex floor plan, a traditionally articulated façade, and a conventional multi-pitched roof structure. The external landscaping includes the construction of a parking area, installation of a bio-rotor system, and the construction of an internal asphalt-paved access road with a connection to the main public road.

The building will be constructed according to energy-efficient building principles and NZEB standards. Completion of construction works is expected within 7 months, with the planned opening of the facility in spring 2026.
