CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTEGRAL DRAINAGE SYSTEM FOR THE ZADAR AND PETRČANE AGGLOMERATION

The project providing improvements to the municipal water supply infrastructure within the Zadar-Petrčane agglomeration (settlements of Zadar, Kožino, Petrčane and Crno) is directed to developing the wastewater collection and treatment system with the aim of improving the quality of the sea and water as well as increase the number of household connections onto the public drainage and treatment system. Moreover, reducing the operational cost of the treatment plant, provision of septic tanks, using water from the public water supply system by 40 million litres and CO2 emissions due to putting more than 5,000 existing septic pits out of use will have a positive impact on the environment.
