CONSTRUCTION OF THE TKON FERRY PORT ON THE ISLAND OF PAŠMAN

The project envisages construction of the ferry dock – port open to public traffic with the ability to receive ferries up to 50 metres in length.

The port comprises 2 jetties with 2 berths, a boarding-unboarding area and boarding area. The jetty is 6 metres wide and 54 metres long. The depth of the jetty is 4 metres. A berth plateau and small sports port incorporating an asphalted area which enables the boarding and unboarding of vehicles are constructed alongside the jetties. Circulation of the sea between the external and internal sea area is ensured using sea culverts located in the base of the berth plateau. The port is also to incorporate an asphalted plateau for a boarding area and public parking area. A bathing facilityy and walkway are also envisaged for construction.

This project by the Zadar County Port Authority is the first of 28 projects to be financed through EU grants and falls under the Call for Co-financing Improvements to Port Infrastructure in the Service of Coastal Liner Shipping.
