INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT FOR THE RIJEKA PORT – RIJEKA BASIN AND BULK TERMINAL IN BAKAR

The purpose of this project is to improve links between the entire Rijeka basin and the railway network in the hinterland area as well as directly towards European corridors by removing existing worn out and operationally unsuitable railway infrastructure.

The project is directed to activities for reconstruction of the bulk freight terminal Podbok in the Bakar basin within the Rijeka port and also reconstruction of existing infrastructure as well as creating a wide operational area along the coastline and piers within the Rijeka basin.

The works are co-financed using funds from financial instruments for connecting Europe – CEF.
