OPUZEN AGGLOMERATION – PART OF THE MALA NERETVA CANAL

The goals of this project are to reduce regional differences in Croatia, contribute to social stability by constructing infrastructure, improve wastewater drainage in the Opuzen agglomeration area and improve the water supply system in the area of the Opuzen agglomeration.

The works comprise constructing part of the sewage system for draining wastewater along Mala Neretva and the Crepina tributary, in ban Josip Jelačić street, Zrinsko-Frankopan street and Strimen street including the settlement of Podrafina and Valak, as well as the connection to the larger already built sewage system at the intersection of the business zone in Opuzen, construction of the water supply network, reconnecting the existing water supply connections onto the network, and construction of 6 new pumping stations with a capacity of up to 15 litres/second and maximum lift height of 15.5 metres.
